Lingerie Fitting Guide

Determining Your Lingerie Size

Lingerie works best when they fit right. Depending on the brand and style of your chosen lingerie, there are several methods on finding the right size. It is recommended to have these measurements on hand, and to have someone else take your measurements for more accurate results.

Determining Your Band and Cup Size

Some brands and styles may require your band and/or cup size. Examples are camisoles, bustier and sexy bras.

To get your band size, wrap the tape measure directly under your bust as snugly as possible. If the result is an even number, add 4 inches; if it’s an odd number, add 5 inches.

For your cup size, measure the fullest part of your bust. We recommend that you use a non-padded bra for an accurate measurement, making sure that the tape measure is parallel to the ground. Make sure the tape measure is just touching the fullest part of your breasts, not binding. Round off the result to the nearest whole number.

Subtract your band size measurement from this second measurement; the difference is your cup size. Each inch corresponds to a cup size. For example, a difference of an inch means an A cup while a difference of 3 means a Ccup.

Getting Your Waist and Hip Measurement

Some lingerie styles such as thongs and boyshorts use your waist and/or hip measurements as guide.

To get your waist measurement, find your natural waist by bending on the side. The crease is your natural waist. Wrap the tape measure around this area to get your waist measurement. The fit should be snug, but not constricting.

For your hip measurement, measure the fullest part of your hips by wrapping the tape measure around it snugly.
